Terms of Service

Syaxis creates presentations from briefs and source material, with built-in research, revisions through chat and PowerPoint export. Chat also supports other tasks, including image generation. Available models, features and limits depend on your plan; a feature labelled coming soon is not yet available.

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required in your country. Minors need a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. Keep account and billing information accurate, protect your credentials, and tell us about unauthorized access. When acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it.

You retain your rights in prompts, uploads and other input. As between you and Syaxis, you may use generated presentations and other outputs for lawful personal, business and client work; we assign any rights we hold in those outputs to you. This does not grant rights in third-party material or guarantee that AI output is unique or copyright-protected. Syaxis retains its software, branding and platform assets.

You give us a non-exclusive license to host, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service, including through service providers described in our Privacy Policy. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Uploading content or using Chat does not authorize us to publish, resell or use your private work, name or logo in advertising. Marketing use requires separate permission. The processing license ends when the content is deleted, except for necessary legal retention and deletion processing.

AI is probabilistic. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to those given to others or unsuitable for your needs. Do not treat them as your sole source of facts. Check facts, sources, permissions and suitability before using or sharing outputs.

Outputs are not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, legal, financial or educational advice. You must not use outputs about a person to make decisions that have a legal or significant material impact on them, including decisions about credit, education, employment, housing, insurance, legal matters or medical care.

Outputs do not represent the views of Syaxis. References to third-party products, services or organizations do not imply that those third parties endorse the output or are affiliated with Syaxis, or that Syaxis endorses them. Third-party source material, images and provider restrictions may affect how an output can be used.

Do not use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, infringement, exploitation, harassment, malware or unauthorized access. Do not evade security, billing or usage limits, interfere with other users, or resell access without permission. Follow applicable model-provider usage restrictions. We may restrict abusive requests or accounts; we do not promise that every request is reviewed or that every harmful output is detected. Honest reviews and criticism are welcome; these Terms do not transfer ownership of your feedback or reviews to us.

The price, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in account billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally leaves access until the end of the paid term; it does not automatically issue a refund. See our Refund Policy.

Plans have separate presentation and credit limits. AI work consumes credits; deleting a presentation does not restore its creation allowance. Annual billing does not provide a year’s credits at once: allowances refresh monthly and unused credits do not roll over. Free PowerPoint exports carry a Made with Syaxis mark. Model choice in Chat starts with Basic. Changes to a plan take effect as described before you confirm them.

Our Privacy Policy explains processing by Syaxis and its providers. Accepting these Terms is not consent to optional analytics or a waiver of privacy rights. Do not submit information you lack permission to share or regulated data requiring safeguards we have not agreed to provide.

Except for express commitments we make to you and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and AI outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free or accurate outputs, or that outputs will meet every requirement. Consumers retain any applicable rights to services provided with reasonable care and skill and to remedies for services or digital content that do not conform to the contract. This disclaimer does not exclude those rights or other guarantees and obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, lost profits and lost data. Our total liability is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the fees you paid us in the six months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, and do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syaxis, LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents against third-party claims to the extent caused by: (a) your unlawful use or misuse of the Service; (b) your material breach of these Terms; (c) content you submit, or your use or distribution of outputs, that violates applicable law or another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or (d) your negligence or intentional misconduct in connection with the Service. This means covering resulting damages, settlements you approve, and reasonable, necessary costs of defending those claims, including legal fees.

We will give you prompt notice of a covered claim, take reasonable steps to limit losses and control its defence using reasonably selected counsel. You must provide reasonable cooperation. We will not settle a claim at your expense or admit fault on your behalf without your prior written consent, which must not be unreasonably withheld.

You do not have to cover losses to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms, negligence or intentional misconduct. This section does not apply to claims you bring against Syaxis or limit rights and protections that cannot be waived under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.

These obligations continue after your account is closed or these Terms end for conduct that occurred while you used the Service.

We may suspend access for material breaches, non-payment, security risks or legal requirements. We will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where reasonably possible; urgent safety or legal reasons may require immediate action. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms, prices or the Service. Your mandatory cancellation and refund rights continue to apply, including if we discontinue a paid service.

Delaware law governs these Terms, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Consumers retain any protections and rights to bring claims in their home jurisdiction that cannot be waived. Nothing here limits those rights.

If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay or failure by either party to enforce a right under these Terms does not by itself waive that right.
