Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Syaxis, LLC, a US-registered company, is responsible for the personal information processed to operate Syaxis. This policy explains our use of that information. Using the Service does not by itself give consent to optional analytics.

1.Information we collect

We process account and authentication details; subscription, payment status and usage records; prompts, conversations, uploads, research queries and source material; generated presentations, images, revisions, versions and exports. We also process support correspondence and technical records such as IP addresses, device information and error logs. Stripe handles payment details; we do not store full payment-card numbers.

2.Purposes and legal bases

We use information to provide the Service, authenticate users, send essential account emails such as email verification and password-reset messages, generate and store work, process payments and enforce plan limits. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these uses are necessary to perform our contract. Security, abuse prevention and support rely on our legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Required financial and legal records are processed to meet legal obligations. Analytics relies on consent where prior consent is required; elsewhere, where permitted by law, it supports our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Service, with an option to turn it off.

3.Providers and disclosures

We send relevant prompts, conversation context, source material and files to AI providers to fulfill requests: OpenAI, Anthropic, Moonshot AI (Kimi), Z.ai (GLM), Alibaba Cloud (Qwen) and xAI. Providers depend on the feature and routing; Auto and file processing may use providers other than the model selected in Chat.

Serper processes search queries and page URLs for web research. We use Google Cloud and Firebase for infrastructure and authentication, Stripe for payments, and Amplitude for optional analytics.

Syaxis does not use your content to train AI models. To provide the Service, we process it through third-party AI providers, whose retention and use practices vary. Those providers may use content for training or model improvement under their applicable terms and settings.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to meet legal requirements, protect users and the Service, or complete a business transfer subject to applicable law. Your private uploads are not public submissions or permission for advertising use.

4.Retention

Account information and saved work are retained while needed to provide your account and the features you use. Billing and transaction records may be kept after account deletion for tax, accounting and dispute obligations. Security and support records are retained as needed for those purposes. Removal from active storage does not necessarily mean immediate removal from backups or providers’ legally retained records.

5.Deletion and cancellation

Deleting an individual presentation or chat is permanent in the Service. Account deletion is different: it is scheduled after a 30-day grace period and can be cancelled before processing starts. Billing cancellation occurs during account erasure; to stop an upcoming renewal sooner, cancel it separately in account billing. Some payment and legal records remain. Contact us for deletion assistance or information about retained records.

6.Optional analytics

When analytics is enabled, we use Amplitude to collect page views and feature-usage events to understand and improve the Service. For signed-in users, we associate this activity with their account ID and, when available, email address, and send that information to Amplitude.

Where prior consent is required, analytics cookies and similar identifiers stay off until you accept. Elsewhere, where permitted by law, analytics is enabled by default. A saved choice to disable it is respected. Use Cookie preferences in the public footer or your account privacy controls to enable or disable analytics at any time. Explicit choices, their date and the notice version are stored in your browser where storage is available; a default setting is not recorded as consent. Necessary authentication and security storage is separate. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

7.International processing

Information may be processed in the United States, Singapore and other countries where our providers operate. The OpenAI and Anthropic data-processing agreements include standard contractual clauses for applicable transfers. Contact hello@syaxis.ai for information about processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards, or to request copies. Using the Service is not consent to international transfers.

8.Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Where California privacy law applies, its access, correction, deletion and non-discrimination rights are preserved. Contact us to exercise your rights; we may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.

9.Security

We use access controls and other technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your login credentials secure and avoid submitting data requiring safeguards we have not agreed to provide.

10.Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 or any higher minimum age required locally. Minors need a parent or guardian’s permission. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without the required permission so we can investigate and delete it where required.

11.Changes and contact

We will update this policy and its date when our practices change, and give additional notice or request consent where required. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to Syaxis, LLC at hello@syaxis.ai.
